Roast make a great selection for the centerpiece of any meal occasion! No matter if it is a Crock Pot roast or one Braised in the over like momma’s Sunday roast your gonna be proud of it and your family is gonna love it!

Crock Pot Roast:
Chuck / 7 Bone Roast (my Favorite) - These are cuts that are a little fatter than your other roast and are very forgiving because of it. The Chuck is cut as a “clod” while the 7 Bone is typically flat about 1 1/2 inches thick …No it doesn’t have 7 bones but it does have a bone shaped like a “7”;-)
Chuck Arm - Comes a little farther down on the arm than the chuck and is a little leaner but still makes a great Pot Roast …cut at about 1 1/2 inches and is flat with a single round bone.
Sirloin Tip - is a fantastic roast that is a Crock Pot or Braising Roast. It is cut from the end of the sirloin and is leaner than the above roast …you’re gonna love it!
Braising Roast:
Rump / Round Roast - is a very lean roast that is boneless and cut in a clod. Your gonna want to braise this one in the oven …Just like momma with some potatoes and carrots …yum
